Summary
This study looked at 366 adults referred to the hospital with suspected inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), including Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. The goal was to find simple, non-invasive markers that can help doctors diagnose IBD more accurately and predict how the disease will progress. By improving early diagnosis and prognosis, researchers hope to reduce complications and improve patient outcomes.
