What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
Non-Trauma Treatment for TBI and PTSD (T3 PTSD) - behavioral therapy
What this could lead to
If it works, this could provide a safe, effective PTSD treatment option for veterans with brain injuries who cannot tolerate trauma-focused therapy.
What could go wrong
This is a very small early study with only 30 participants, so results may not apply to everyone. The therapy may not reduce PTSD symptoms significantly.
