New freezing therapy offers hope for tough Barrett's cases

Summary

This study tests a freezing device (CryoBalloon) to treat Barrett's esophagus in people who still have abnormal cells after several standard heat treatments. About 70 adults will receive the freezing treatment during an endoscopy. The goal is to see if it can safely remove all precancerous tissue and prevent the need for more invasive procedures.
