First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study looked at whether working night shifts for a few days can change how your body builds and breaks down bone. Twenty healthy adults aged 20-40 were studied during simulated night shifts. Researchers measured bone markers in the blood to see if the body's natural sleep-wake cycle disruption affects bone health.
