NCT ID NCT05074277
First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study tested whether a few nights of simulated shift work can temporarily change how the body builds and breaks down bone. Twenty healthy adults aged 20-40 were monitored during two short hospital stays. The goal was to see if night work disrupts bone turnover and whether returning to normal sleep reverses the effect.
