Summary
This study looks at whether a high-dose nicotine patch placed on the skin before and after chest surgery can help male smokers who have quit temporarily feel less pain and need fewer opioids. About 80 men aged 18-75 who smoke regularly will take part. The goal is to find a safer way to manage pain after surgery.
