Summary
This early-stage study is testing whether a dietary supplement called nicotinamide riboside (a form of vitamin B3) can improve brain energy levels and slow cognitive decline. It involves 50 older adults with mild memory problems or early Alzheimer's disease. Researchers will use brain scans to see if the supplement changes brain chemistry and function.
