New scan aims to sharpen lung cancer detection
NCT ID NCT07370805
Summary
This study is testing a new type of PET/CT scan, called 18F-FAPI, to see if it can better diagnose lung cancer and predict how the disease might progress. It will involve 120 people who are suspected or confirmed to have lung cancer. Participants will get this new scan along with standard imaging, and researchers will track their health outcomes over time without changing their treatment plans.
