New hope for breathless patients: inhaled powder aims to ease severe lung condition

Summary

This study is testing whether a new once-daily inhaled powder (TPIP) can help adults with a serious lung condition called pulmonary hypertension associated with interstitial lung disease (PH-ILD). The main goal is to see if the treatment improves how far participants can walk in six minutes after 24 weeks, compared to a placebo. The trial will also monitor for any worsening of the disease and changes in a key blood marker of heart strain.
