Surgeons test groin tissue to rebuild cancer Patients' mouths
NCT ID NCT05757817
Summary
This study is testing a new surgical technique for patients with head and neck cancer. It uses a flap of skin and tissue from the groin area to rebuild the mouth or throat after tumor removal. The main goal is to see if this method is safe and causes fewer problems at the area where the tissue is taken from, compared to other donor sites. About 40 patients will be followed for one year after their surgery.
