New scan could spot hidden cancer cells

NCT ID NCT03604315

Summary

This study is testing a new radioactive tracer used in PET/CT scans to see if it can better find and track cancer cells in people with solid tumors, including ovarian, breast, and other cancers. Researchers will inject the tracer and perform scans to see how well it highlights tumors and if it correlates with specific genetic features. The goal is to gather information to improve future cancer detection and monitoring, not to treat the disease directly.
