New scan aims to see inside tumors more clearly

NCT ID NCT03604315

Summary

This study is testing a new radioactive dye for PET/CT scans to see if it can better show cancer cells in people with solid tumors, including ovarian, breast, and other cancers. Researchers want to see if this new imaging method can help measure a specific protein activity inside tumors. The study involves 300 participants who will receive the new tracer and undergo scans to gather information, not to directly treat their cancer.
