First seen May 14, 2026 · Last updated Jun 14, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study aims to find out how many relatives of people with celiac disease have non-celiac wheat sensitivity (NCWS) or irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) not caused by wheat. Researchers will ask 600 adult relatives to follow a wheat-free diet for 6 weeks and complete online questionnaires. The goal is to better understand the link between celiac disease and these digestive conditions.
