NCT ID NCT03911414
First seen Mar 29, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study tested two natural supplement combinations—omega-3 plus inositol versus N-acetylcysteine (NAC)—to see if they could help children and teens (ages 5-17) with emotional ups and downs. Over 6 weeks, 27 participants took one of the two treatments. The goal was to find a gentler, non-drug option for managing mood symptoms.
