Summary
This study tested if being in a room with natural light instead of artificial light could prevent delirium (sudden confusion) after heart surgery. Researchers observed 448 adults over 12 months. They compared patients who had natural light to those who had only artificial light. The goal was to see if natural light reduced confusion and agitation after surgery.
