First seen May 11, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study looked at whether giving N-Acetylcysteine (an antioxidant) plus multivitamins to adults over 60 with a traumatic brain injury could help reduce symptoms like headaches, confusion, and emotional issues. 92 participants were treated within 3 hours of injury and followed for 30 days. The goal was to see if this combination improves recovery compared to standard care alone.
