NCT ID NCT04291066
First seen May 11, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looked at whether giving N-Acetylcysteine (an antioxidant) plus multivitamins soon after a traumatic brain injury helps older adults (60+) feel better. 92 people took part, and researchers checked their thinking, emotions, and physical symptoms over 30 days. The goal was to see if this treatment eases recovery, not to cure the injury.
