Can simple exercises help kids breathe better at night?
NCT ID NCT07249944
Summary
This study is testing whether a program of mouth, tongue, and breathing exercises, called myofunctional therapy, can help children aged 6-12 with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). 174 children will be randomly assigned to either do the 24-week exercise program with remote guidance or receive standard care without the exercises. Researchers will measure changes in sleep breathing patterns, symptoms, and quality of life to see if the therapy is effective.
