Can simple exercises help kids breathe better at night?
NCT ID NCT07249944
Summary
This study is testing whether a therapy involving mouth, tongue, and breathing exercises can help children with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). Researchers will enroll 174 children aged 6-12 and randomly assign them to either receive the exercise therapy or standard care. The main goal is to see if the exercises reduce breathing pauses during sleep and improve related symptoms and quality of life.
