Could your favorite song calm your brain? new study tests music as epilepsy therapy
NCT ID NCT06425029
Summary
This study is testing whether listening to specific music every day can reduce epileptic brain activity and seizures in people with hard-to-treat epilepsy. Researchers will enroll 24 adults who already have a special brain implant that monitors their seizures. Participants will listen to different music tracks at home for several months to see if any reduce their seizure activity and improve their mood and quality of life.
