Could your favorite song calm your brain? music tested as epilepsy treatment
NCT ID NCT06425029
Summary
This study is testing whether listening to specific music every day can reduce seizure activity and improve mood for adults with hard-to-treat epilepsy. Participants, who already have a special brain implant to monitor seizures, will listen to different music tracks at home for several months. Researchers will measure changes in brain activity, seizure counts, and quality of life to see if music can be a helpful add-on therapy.
