First seen Jan 25, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study looks at whether listening to music can help children aged 4 to 6 feel less pain and fear when they first get up after abdominal surgery. About 74 children will take part, with half listening to their favorite music during movement and the other half getting usual parent support. Researchers will measure pain and fear using special picture scales and check heart and breathing rates.
