Summary
This study is testing whether a drug called BIO101 can help prevent muscle strength loss in overweight adults who are taking the weight loss medication semaglutide. Researchers want to see if adding BIO101 to standard weight loss treatment helps people maintain muscle strength while losing weight. The study will involve 164 participants who will take either BIO101 or a placebo pill for 21 weeks while also taking semaglutide and following a reduced-calorie diet.
