Summary
This study tests a new wheelchair design that lets users change gears, making it easier to push uphill, over carpet, or from a stop. Researchers will compare the multi-speed chair to a standard manual wheelchair in 30 adults with spinal cord injuries or diseases. The goal is to see if the new design reduces shoulder strain and improves daily mobility.
