Summary

This study looks at whether mild traumatic brain injuries (mTBIs) in Veterans increase the risk of dementia. Researchers will test memory, brain waves, brain structure, and certain proteins linked to brain injury and dementia. The goal is to find early signs of brain changes that could lead to Alzheimer's or chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE).
