Zapping the spine to steady steps: new hope for MS balance problems
NCT ID NCT07174973
Summary
This study is testing whether adding electrical stimulation to balance training can help people with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) walk better and feel more steady. Researchers will compare three approaches: balance training alone, training with muscle stimulation, and training with both muscle and spinal cord stimulation. Up to 24 participants will complete 12 training sessions over 6 weeks to see which method most improves mobility and confidence.
