Zapping the spine to steady steps: new hope for MS balance problems

NCT ID NCT07174973

Summary

This study is testing whether adding gentle electrical stimulation to balance training can help people with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) walk better and feel more steady. Up to 24 participants will be randomly assigned to do balance games with or without electrical pulses to their leg muscles and spinal cord. The goal is to see if this combination improves mobility, confidence, and reduces the fear of falling more than training alone.
