NCT ID NCT07456462

First seen Mar 07, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study aims to develop a safer, cheaper way to monitor Alzheimer's treatment using advanced MRI scans and blood tests instead of repeated PET scans. Researchers will track 50 people with early Alzheimer's who are receiving antibody therapy (lecanemab or donanemab) to build personalized models that predict when amyloid plaques are cleared from the brain. The goal is to help doctors decide when each patient can stop treatment, reducing unnecessary procedures and improving quality of life.
