Smart knee could help veterans walk better and feel safer

Summary
This study will test whether a microprocessor-controlled knee (a smart knee that adjusts automatically) helps veterans with a leg amputation walk better and feel more confident compared to a standard mechanical knee. About 20 veterans will try both types of knees and report their mobility, balance, and falls. The goal is to see if the smart knee improves daily life for those with limited mobility.
