First seen Nov 15, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This study involves 171 people with light chain amyloidosis, a rare disease where abnormal proteins build up in the heart. Researchers will use special PET and MRI scans to track these deposits and understand how they cause heart problems. The goal is not to treat the disease directly, but to gather knowledge that could lead to better treatments in the future.
