Smartphone app aims to catch HIV early in High-Risk groups
NCT ID NCT05484895
Summary
This study tested whether a mobile app could help men at high risk for HIV in China check themselves for the virus more regularly and connect to medical care if needed. About 1,800 HIV-negative men who have sex with men were randomly assigned to either use the special app or receive standard information. Researchers tracked how often men tested themselves and whether those who tested positive got linked to care over 18 months.
