Walking with awareness: new study aims to ease caregiver stress

Summary
This study tests a 12-week mindful walking program for older South Asian family caregivers (age 45+) who care for someone with cognitive disabilities and feel stressed. Half of the 50 participants will learn mindful walking and use a Fitbit, while the other half continues usual care. The goal is to see if this approach is practical and can reduce stress, improve thinking, and increase physical activity.
