First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study tests a new program called 'One Mind One Heart' that combines mindfulness and behavior change to help older adults with HIV reduce stress and improve heart health. Researchers will first interview 20 participants to refine the program, then test it in a small group of 5, and finally run a pilot trial with 50 people to see if it's feasible and acceptable. The goal is to lower inflammation and heart disease risk by addressing psychological distress and unhealthy behaviors.
