Mindfulness may ease the heavy burden on cancer caregivers

Summary
This study looks at whether different stress management programs can lower the burden and distress felt by caregivers of patients receiving a stem cell transplant for blood cancer. About 505 caregivers and patients are taking part. Researchers will measure caregiver burden and patient anxiety and depression using standard questionnaires at several points over six months.
