Summary
This study tested whether a special mindfulness program could help first responders manage job stress and physical discomfort. Twenty-nine active first responders took part in an 8-week online mindfulness course and used a companion app for six months. Researchers measured changes in their stress levels, resilience, work engagement, and muscle or joint pain.
