Summary
This study looks at whether tiny plastic particles (microplastics and nanoplastics) build up in the liver and worsen cirrhosis and heart problems. Researchers will compare tissue samples from 30 people with cirrhosis to those without liver disease. The goal is to understand how plastic pollution may impact disease progression.
