Summary

This study tested two antibiotic gels (metronidazole and minocycline) against gum disease in 380 adults with diabetes. Participants received deep cleaning alone or with one or both gels. Researchers measured gum pocket depth, color, and bleeding at 7 and 15 days to see which treatment worked best.
