New combo treatment targets apathy in Alzheimer's patients

Summary
This study tests if combining a medication (methylphenidate) with a type of non-invasive brain stimulation can reduce apathy in people with Alzheimer's disease or mixed dementia. Apathy, or lack of motivation, is a common and troubling symptom. The study will involve 12 participants and their care partners, and will measure changes in apathy over time.
