Summary
This study tests whether giving a short course of chemo-immunotherapy before surgery can improve outcomes for people with Merkel cell carcinoma, a rare skin cancer. About 36 adults with operable tumors will receive one cycle of retifanlimab plus chemotherapy, then undergo surgery. The main goal is to see how many patients have no cancer left in the removed tissue.
