First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study tests whether a single dose of MDMA, given alongside two weeks of intensive exposure therapy, can help adults with PTSD feel better faster and longer. About 200 participants will receive either MDMA or a placebo during therapy. The main goal is to see if the combination leads to greater reduction in PTSD symptoms one month after treatment.
