First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 33 times
Summary
This study tests whether manual therapy—gentle massage and stretching of the neck, throat, and jaw—can improve swallowing and movement in head and neck cancer survivors who have long-term swallowing problems due to tissue scarring. About 24 participants will attend 10 therapy sessions over 6 weeks. The goal is to see if this approach is practical and safe, and whether it helps ease symptoms.
