NCT ID NCT07496268
First seen Mar 28, 2026 · Last updated Jun 15, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a simple art activity—coloring mandalas—could help elderly people living in nursing homes feel less anxious about death and manage anger better. Eighty adults aged 65 and older took part; half colored mandalas three times a week for 12 weeks, while the other half did not. The results showed that the mandala group had lower death anxiety and anger levels compared to the control group.
