Magnesium shield may improve dental implant outcomes

NCT ID NCT07492576

First seen Apr 01, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study tests whether a magnesium membrane placed around a dental implant helps preserve bone and gum shape better than the standard dual-zone grafting technique. About 22 adults with a failing front tooth and thin bone will receive one of the two methods. The goal is to see which approach leads to better healing, appearance, and less discomfort.
