First seen Jan 16, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study looks at whether taking magnesium by mouth and soaking feet in a magnesium solution can reduce nerve pain and improve sleep in people with colorectal cancer getting chemotherapy. About 75 adults will be split into three groups: one gets magnesium pills, another gets pills plus foot baths, and a third gets standard care. Researchers will check magnesium levels, nerve symptoms, and sleep quality over several rounds of chemo.
