First seen Jan 16, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study looks at whether taking magnesium by mouth and soaking feet in a magnesium solution can reduce nerve damage (tingling, numbness) and improve sleep in people with colorectal cancer getting chemotherapy. About 75 adults will be split into three groups: one gets oral magnesium, another adds foot baths, and a third gets standard care. Researchers will track magnesium levels, nerve symptoms, and sleep quality over six chemotherapy cycles.
