Summary
This study tested a new magnetic system (MagDI) that creates a connection in the small intestine to help with weight loss and type 2 diabetes. 27 adults with obesity (BMI 30-50) and some with diabetes took part. The goal was to see if the device could be placed safely and work as intended without major complications.
