New MRI study aims to uncover hidden lung damage in COVID and chronic disease

Summary
This study uses special MRI scans with inhaled gases to see how lungs work in people with asthma, COPD, or COVID-19 (including Long COVID). Researchers will track up to 160 participants over several years to understand how these diseases change the lungs over time. The goal is to learn why some patients have trouble breathing and how to better treat them.
