Summary
This study aims to better understand how the lungs work in brain-injured patients who are trying to stop using a ventilator. Researchers will use a special belt with sensors to take pictures of how air moves in different parts of the lungs. They hope to find patterns that can predict which patients will successfully breathe on their own after the ventilator is removed.
