New hope for advanced lung cancer: adding surgery or radiation to immunotherapy may boost survival

Summary
This study tests whether adding local treatments like surgery or radiation to a two-drug immunotherapy regimen helps people with stage IV non-small cell lung cancer live longer. About 339 participants will receive either immunotherapy alone or immunotherapy plus local therapy. The goal is to see if the combination improves overall survival.
