Summary
This study looked at the long-term safety of the malaria drug tafenoquine in 600 healthy volunteers. Participants took either tafenoquine or a placebo daily for three days, then weekly for 51 weeks. The main focus was on eye health, checking for any serious changes in the retina. The study also monitored other side effects over the course of a year.
